![]() Dawn Kelly has always played an active role in her community, volunteering in many capacities over the years. She’s been a dedicated P&C committee member, Vice President of the Kingsley and Greenwood Residents Association (KAGRA), a Justice of the Peace, a kidney carer, and a Scout leader. She has also facilitated a range of community-focused support groups – always putting people and connection first. Her role as Vice President of KAGRA came about through her volunteer role as a School Counsellor at Greenwood Primary School. While in this role, Dawn discovered the Labor Government, under Corporate Premier (CEO) McGowan was covertly attempting to sell off Primary School land for profit – without any consultation with the local community. Outraged by this lack of transparency, Dawn rallied her community to stand up against this deceptive land grab. Thanks to her leadership and persistence, the sale was stopped and the school retained their school oval. A devoted mother, Dawn spent many years as a full time stay at home mother. Her children benefitted from a stable and well-rounded upbringing and have gone on to build successful lives of their own. Alongside raising her family, she worked from home as a holistic practitioner, a journey that began in 2005. She provided Individual counselling and a range of relaxation practices, including, Massage, Breath-Work, Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Chi Nei Tsang, Bowan Therapy and the Inner Compass. She also lead and developed a range of personal development and practical empowerment strategy workshops. Her commitment to others also saw here volunteer at Joondalup Hospital as a Kidney Carer. Today, Dawn operates a successful pain management clinic in Midland, specialising in Bio-electric Therapy and red-light therapy (infra-red technology). She takes pride in supporting her clients to successfully manage their pain, and to live fuller, more comfortable lives. The experience of living through COVID was a turning point for Dawn. She became increasingly concerned about the growing influence of corporate interests in government and the erosion of individual rights. She found herself awakening to the reality that Western Australia is a ‘police state’ and the Government was controlled and influenced by foreign corporate stakeholders driven to make profit at the detriment of the people of this country who are considered to be customers. Dawn is passionately driven to reclaim and restore the rightful balance of power back to everyday Australians, as it was originally intended under the Commonwealth of Australia. https://dawnkelly.com.au/my-corona-timeline/ Dawn now facilitates a bi-monthly support group, ‘Practical Lawful Ascension’, aimed at helping people navigate the court system as self-represented litigants. She knows from experience how intimidating and unfair the system can feel and is determined to help others stand strong and informed. Dawn believes the system, often controlled by an elitist few, places self-represented litigants at a severe disadvantage on every level. Dawn is deeply committed to protecting the rights of the individual, believing that every man or woman should be acknowledged, respected, and treated fairly in every situation that the law may afford, no matter their background or circumstance.
