NSW SENATE CANDIDATE
I’ve just graduated from UNE with a bachelor of Laws, and I also hold a Bachelor of Environmental Management awarded from UQ.
I started out as a soldier and joined the Australian Army in 1987, and I spent 7 years in the 6th Battalion.
After leaving the Army I traveled to Europe and Africa to explore the world. During these travels I decided to go to university to gain knowledge that I could put towards making a positive contribution with my time.
I worked in construction while I paid my way through my first degree. Once I graduated I joined the public service and spent 3 years in Canberra in the then Department of the Environment, and the Department of Climate Change, working on renewable energy policy.
That experience introduced me to the workings of government and developing policies.
I then went into the private sector and became the National Operations Manager for a residential solar company.
Unfortunately I have also been through the family law court machine, and entirely unpleasant experience. However, this prompted me to complete my degree in Law.
I have developed a set of policies with respect to employment, affordable housing and taxation that I believe would be very well received by the electorate, and align perfectly with the principles of the GAP. These are very sound and effective socio-economic polices that go to the core of correcting the power imbalance between the people and our current system of governance.
I have the real world experience, as well as the formal qualifications to help rescue Australia from the grips of what has clearly become a corrupt system of corporate governance.
